About 180° Equine Therapies LLC and the owner!

While taking a college course on Equine Conformation and Performance in 2018, a video called The Basic Principles of Equine Massage/Muscle Therapy by Mike Scott was shown.  The aim was to memorize where the muscles of the horse could be found but the outcome was a fascination with Equine Bodywork!  After graduating in 2020 with an Equine Science degree, Logan dove into furthering their knowledge of Equine Therapy and earned certifications in Equine Myo-Manipulative Functional Therapy, Animal Cold Laser Therapy, Equine Kinesiology Taping, and is a Registered Professional Member of the International Association of Animal Massage & Bodywork.

After years of working as a stall cleaner, barn manager, landscaper, and lesson coordinator for Equine Professionals in varying disciplines, one thing remained: a love of Equine Bodywork.  The leap of faith was finally taken in 2023 and 180° Equine Therapies LLC was formed!  Since its founding Logan has continued their education by learning from other Professionals, working on more certifications, and improving their techniques and modalities.  “If you are not willing to learn, no one can help you. If you are determined to learn, no one can stop you.”—Zig Ziglar

It is the belief of 180° Equine Therapies LLC that bodywork is for every body! In the time that 180° Equine Therapies LLC was founded, Logan has made a consistent effort in helping the local horse community.  They have provided free bodywork sessions to Non-Profit organizations such as the Linn County Animal Rescue and Hope for Heroes in Yelm, WA.  They have also sponsored trainers competing in the Teens and Oregon Mustang Competition, sponsored local 4-H shows, and provided prizes for shows hosted by OSU!

Outside of 180° Equine Therapies LLC, Logan enjoys spending time with their animals, exploring nature, and studying prehistory! Having been involved with horses from a young age, a career in the industry came as no surprise.  Summer after summer of horse camps led to farm chores in exchange for riding lessons.  Throughout their childhood and teenage years Logan dabbled in ranch riding, equitation, trail riding, and jumping.  In college they joined the Equestrian Team and rode their Appaloosa to blue ribbons in extreme mountain trail, english equitation, and jumping.  Now they focus on eventing but have a special place in their heart for designing and building obstacles for mountain trail!
